Subaru has used the New York motor show to preview how the next WRX STI model _ based on today's fourth-generation Impreza _ could look like in showrooms when sales are most likely to start at the year-end.
The so-called WRX Concept features many aggressive lines like the large air vents in the front bonnet, traditional bonnet scoop, rear air diffuser and four exhaust pipes. Note the rear spoiler integrated into the boot lid, unlike the outlandish wing of today's four-door STI.
The forged one-piece wheels from BBS are shod with 245/40 ZR20 tyres from Dunlop and house six-piston brake callipers up front.
