WASHINGTON - More than two-thirds of American motorists use a mobile phone while driving despite recent laws in many jurisdictions banning the practice, a survey showed Thursday.

The study released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 69 per cent of US drivers talked on their cell phone while driving within the 30 days before they were surveyed.

Disc 4 ...i don't know but i was horrified when i saw the scene ...i assume she arrived at her destination on schedule ...or not
and it wasn't a mini dress it was like just below the knee she was dressed for business plus i think she was talking on a headset

If you look at the rear view mirrors on many scooters driven by females you will see they are focused on their faces, not on the road behind them.

How is this physically possible?

In Thailand I would say some 80-90% of people use their phones whilst driving!
the scariest is the motorcycles who balance their helmet on top of their head hold the phone to their ear with on hand ad ride with the other hand.
Also not forgetting the idiots who put their i pads on their steering wheel and play on thay while they are driving!

I saw this lady in a dress riding a scooter sidesaddle putting on eyeliner & she was driving it and no doubt looking in the mirror and this was on sukhumvit at lunchtime

Multi tasking is the trait of normal people and cannot be easily stopped. What should be done is to find some scientific means to detect driving behaviors and then give some kind of warning if and when such behaviors are deemed dangerous.
For the record, road deaths in Thailand is about 14,000 deaths annually.
