Bangkok Airways is moving to capture more of the Hong Kong travel market by ramping up flights between Koh Samui and Hong Kong and planning a new Bangkok-Hong Kong route.
The privately owned carrier will boost Koh Samui-Hong Kong flights from 10 a week now to 14, starting Dec 1.
Bangkok Airways also plans to offer a direct link between the former crown colony and Suvarnabhumi airport some time next year, according to vice-president ML Nandhika Varavarn.
