PM calls meeting on strong baht

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Wednesday called an urgent meeting to discuss measures to deal with the baht's fluctuation and to prevent the value of the currency baht strenghtening further.
The meeting, held at Government House, was attended by Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong and Bank of Thailand governor Prasarn Trairatvorakul.
The prime minister was concerned that the strong baht value would hurt Thai exporters.
