SilverNeedle targets Thai market

SilverNeedle Hospitality, a Singapore-based hospitality investment, development and management company, has set its sights on operating at least 15 properties in Southeast Asia by 2016.

Iqbal Jumabhoy, managing director and group chief executive, said Thailand is a key market for development and the company is actively pursuing openings for the right hotels and resorts.

"Thailand's importance as a gateway to markets like Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam will offer fresh opportunities to cater to business travellers both in the region and globally who are looking for quality service and boutique hotels and resorts for business and leisure," he said.
