Carlsberg re-emerges with Singha

Thai firm to distribute Danish beer in Asia

After a decade of off-and-on availability in Thailand as a partner of Chang beer, Carlsberg has re-entered the local market under a deal with Chang's arch-rival Singha.

The Danish beer brand formerly did business in Thailand in a partnership with the Chang beer group owned by whisky tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi.

Singha Corporation, distributor of the Singha and Leo brands, will now distribute Carlsberg, a premium beer, in Asia through its networks.

I don't know any beer business but last visit to Thailand and stayed in the hotel that found for college students to train in hotel business ,when asked for Singha they didn't have but Heinegen which is more expensive than local beer. Most guests are Thais so Thais love thing imported. it make them a little upper. I would love to try 28degree (lao Rong) if I could find it.
