“We have witnessed great economic advances in the region over the past years. Now, you all come to Myanmar, we are working hard to move from military rule to democracy. To end our long term internal problems, it is very critical for us to move forward. I want the younger generation of Myanmar to be engaged in the change of our country and to have a better life in the future,” Myanmar President Thein Sein said in his address on the opening day of the World Economic Forum on East Asia.
