My partner and i are currently exploring our choices of getting married in Bangkok. We would like to know the exact location where it would be most conveniet to get married and what are the supporting documents that are required to be submitted for the marriage.
We would be grateful if were were to know the procedure in bangkok as it would help us make our decission whether it would be suitable to get married in bangkok or not. Many thanks!
whether you're a muslim, buddhist, catholic, jew, etc, getting married in the mosque, temple or church might recognize you marriage in the eyes of your god but not in the eyes of thai law.
to be legally married in the eyes of thai law, you must go down to your or her local amphur and register your marriage officially.
good luck / rgds / sardines
If this can be done, is there a chance that I can add my husbands last name to mine in my passport? Please help!
