Worldwide and local DJs and artists to perform in the first ever 'Creative Electronic Music and Dance Festival 2010 _ ZoomOut'
The Ministry of Commerce's Department of Intellectual Properties, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Pattaya City in collaboration with Elite Entertainment, are hosting the first ever "Creative Electronic Music and Dance Festival 2010 _ ZoomOut" on Nov 26-27 at Bali Hai pier in Pattaya.
This will be the first festival of such a scale in Thailand, similar to major events all over the world such as "Love Parade" in Germany, "Roskilde Festival" in Denmark and" ZoukOut" in Singapore.
The ZoomOut Pattaya will feature performances by over 70 DJs and electronic artists both Thai and international on five stages with different styles of music spread throughout the Bali Hai Pier.
More than 15 leading clubs, including Insomnia, Mixx, Bed Supper Club and Gazebo, will also participate in this two-day spectacular.
Highlighted artists performing this time are PoetNameLife from Black Eyed Peas, Claude Challe from Buddha Bar Paris, DJ Sash! from Germany, and 10 other international artists.
Also present will be top Thai electronic artists Dom Parkorn Lum and J Monton. The opening show will be performed by Thai rock star, Sek Loso, who will sing with a DJ in delivering his electronic version of rock.
The music fest also sees plenty of other fun activities, including extreme games, cheerleaders and dancers to keep all attendees high on adrenaline.
To hype up the event, the biggest Creative IP DJ hunt will be held in Bangkok at Insomnia and Mixx clubs with two selection rounds on Nov 19 and 20.
The final round will be at ZoomOut Festival in Pattaya and the winner will be awarded with a 100,000-baht cash prize and a Pioneer pro set DJ equipment.
This competition is aimed to offer an opportunity for Thai talents to show their gifts in electronic music. Music created by the electronic artists can register copyright with the Department of Intellectual Properties.
"Creative Electronic Music and Dance Festival 2010 _ ZoomOut" will be broadcasted worldwide by Fashion TV to put Thailand on the map of international music and dance festival scene.
