American funk-pop-rock band Maroon 5 will make a third comeback to the Kingdom to give another live concert as part of their world tour at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on Oct 8.
And as of now, the tickets are sold out, confirming the huge popularity of the band among Thai fans.
It's unlikely that the organiser will put on an additional show, but such a swift response from fans means the band is likely to make another trip to this shore again soon.
The LA-based quintet are now hot on the heels of the June release of their latest album, Overexposed. It features the electronic-reggae One More Night, smash single Payphone featuring guest rapper Wiz Khalifa, funked-up ballad Beautiful Goodbye, the disco-rock jam Doin' Dirt and many more.
Comprising frontman Adam Levine, guitarist James Valentine, bassist Mickey Madden, drummer Matt Flynn and keyboardist PJ Morton (currently filling in for Jesse Carmichael, who's on hiatus), Maroon 5 has fans worldwide. Their two previous concerts in Bangkok in 2009 and 2011 were met with record-high ticket sales showing just how popular the band is in Thailand. Maroon 5's musical talents along with the charisma of Levine, and smash hits including This Love, She Will Be Loved, Makes Me Wonder, Wake Up Call, Moves Like Jagger, plus Payphone and One More Night from the latest album, have fans clamouring to see the band in concert again.
"Maroon 5 Live in Bangkok 2012" will take place at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on Oct 8 at 8.30pm.
