D&M Music Studio presents a joint recital by three international pianists - Dr Stefano Miceli from Italy, Dr Michal Tal from Israel and Anthony Tam from Hong Kong - at Siam Ratchada Music's auditorium on July 23 at 7pm.
The concert is part of the third "Thailand Mozart International Competition 2013" for which they are guest adjudicators. It is open to all piano lovers, teachers and students and will take place from July 22-25, also at the music house.
The trio will perform a programme of Cimarosa's four sonatas, Schubert/ Liszt's Soiree De Vien No.6, Debussy's Etude XI, Rachmaninov's Polichinelle, Haydn's Sonata In C-Major Hob.50, and Debussy's three preludes and L'Isle Joyeuse.
A classical pianist and conductor, Dr Miceli was named Steinway Artist in 2011 and received the Bravo Award 2012 in New York by Honorary Consul Steve Acunto.
Dr Tal won the Jerusalem Symphony Competition and is a faculty member of Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Tam holds diplomas in piano performance and teaching from institutes in the UK and Australia including the National College of Music, London, where he is the first non-British to be appointed as a member of its academic board.
