The final round of the Coke Music Awards 2013 is set for Sept 21.
The opportunity to win a million baht and become a brand ambassador for Coke would be a huge win for anyone.
Adding a collaboration with Thai band Potato to the mix would be the cherry on top of the cake. But that's exactly what will happen to the winner of the Coke Music Awards, and nine bands have been shortlisted to compete for the prize at WorkPoint Studio on Sept 21.
Fifteen bands, from a total of 583 bands, took an intensive two-day workshop, conducted by leading artists 25 Hours, Lipta and Mild.
The nine bands shortlisted are Dao Pluto, Jook-Kook-Jik-Ka-Dik, Lunatic, Go Bow, Castaway, Object in the Pants, Jikko-Gu-Bo-Band, NMK Superband and Electro Active.
The Coke Music Awards has produced a number of popular Thail musicians and bands, such as ModernDog, Pause, Haruethai Muangboonsri, Phuwanat Kunplin, Inca's Nont Singholka, Tik Shiro, Theerapat Sujjakul, Koh Mr Saxman and Smile Buffalo.
