Italian pianist/composer Daniela Manusardi will make her Bangkok debut with music by Scriabin, Debussy and Chopin at Siam Ratchada Music Auditorium on Aug 11 at 7.30pm.
The concert is part of the International Piano Festival 2013 organised by Siam Kolkarn Ratchadapisek Music School and the International Keyboard Academy of Thailand.
Manusardi received her first instruction in piano and composition at Conservatory G Verdi, Milano, Italy where she graduated from the piano in 1999 and completed her composition degree in 2005.
She has studied at Musikhochschule Trossingen with Prof Akos Hernadi and Prof Tomislav Nedekovic-Baynov.
In masterclasses, she has studied with Rudolf Kehrer, Livia Rev and Karl-Heinz Kammerling.
Since 1994, Manusardi has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in international festivals in Italy, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Denmark and Bulgaria. In 2004 she was awarded a scholarship from Otmar Alt Foundation in Germany.
Defined a brilliant classical pianist, she has been a member of the Baynov Piano Ensemble since 2003. Currently, she is a full-time faculty member of the music school in Ravensburg.
Tickets cost 500 baht (200 baht for students). Seats are limited. The music school is located on the ground floor of Fortune Town Bldg, Ratchadaphisek Road. Call 02-245-7717-9.
