Chiang Mai's hidden jewels have been exposed to the public _ now they can be further developed to help grow new business and improve quality of life in the northern city.
From a rich variety of well thought-out enterprises and products to interesting places and people waiting to be discovered, the best of Chiang Mai can be seen during the "Ploy Saeng 11 Festival: Nod to the North", at the Thailand Creative & Design Centre (TCDC), Chiang Mai, until Nov 3.
The exhibition offers a space for creative Chiang Mai locals to present their ideas and works.
On show are 30 influential works as selected by 30 leading entrepreneurs and designers based on the theme "Create/Make/Earn".
The selection process is part of a survey of creative industries, which aims to ignite a new way of thinking in society and enhance Chiang Mai's hidden potential to become a creative city.
