Music lovers will rally once again to spread peace with the Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF)’s third annual global event on Saturday.
This year marks a new beginning as Playing For Change partners with the 1Love Foundation. The event has been renamed as ‘‘1Love Playing For Change Day’’.
On the day, musicians and fans will gather on stages, street corners, schools and even watch via live streaming of performers, concerts and events that promote peace and positive social change.
People around the world will be able to participate in this memorable day of music by hosting, attending or performing at an event on Saturday.
Bangkok will also be hosting an event at CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road, on Saturday to raise funds for the Klong Toey Music Programme, under the auspices of PFCF Thailand, to help develop their new school.
The day will feature street art and activities for children from 3pm to 6pm.
This is an open space for volunteers who want to perform any kind of art, music, dance, exhibition and more.
Children can enjoy painting, drawing cartoons, taking pictures, or creating reusable products from disposable materials and musical instruments.
A three-part concert will follow from 6pm to 10pm.
Everyone is invited to join the event as a volunteer or guest. Donations are welcome. Visit www.pfcday.org or call 085-165-4776(Thai), 080-221-8687 (English) and 089-006-6800(Thai/English).
