The third Spring Epicurean Market will take place at Spring Restaurant on Sept 29 from 8am to 1pm.
For those looking for a place to stock up on market goodies and hang out with friends on a lazy Sunday morning, the Spring Epicurean Market might be an appealing spot.
Since its inception two months ago, the monthly market has become an exciting new forum for the appreciation of good food in Bangkok. It will be back for the third time on Sept 29 from 8am to 1pm.
This gourmet market is devoted to tasty and healthy foods, which are guaranteed to be both fresh and artisanal organic. Shoppers can sample new flavours, learn more about good food and support local producers directly.
However, they are advised to come early and beat the heat, bring their own recyclable carry bags to help reduce the use of plastic bags and carry small change to facilitate transactions.
They are also encouraged to be active shoppers and ask a lot of questions including where ingredients are sourced and the production techniques involved. Vendors are keen to share their expertise and promote their love of high quality, fine food.
Located on Sukhumvit Soi 49 (Soi Promsri), Spring Restaurant is considered an urban oasis as 70% of the property is dedicated to an open, green space. And, hopefully, many market goers will choose to ride their bikes to this Sunday morning destination.
The Spring Epicurean Market is held on the last Sunday of every month.
