This year’s Makro HoReCa is aimed at helping the Thai food industry raise its standards to become more competitive, both regionally and globally.
Held under the concept ‘‘Furthering the Business to Welcome Asean Partners’’, the four-day event will run from 10am to 7pm, Oct 31-Nov 3, at Impact Exhibition Hall 2-3, Muang Thong Thani.
Since its inception in 2005, Makro HoReCa has been a platform to introduce new products and services to the industry.
This year’s event will be packed with a wide variety of activities, all of which are beneficial for food-business owners who want to develop their skills, learn and adopt new techniques to increase their revenue, and meet other entrepreneurs.
Many professional chefs, renowned restaurant entrepreneurs and celebrity chefs will provide cooking demonstrations and presentations. Among them are Ban Boriboon, or Chef Ik, who will cook some Asean indie dishes, and Pol Tantasatien who will remix Asean dishes.
There will also be seminars on practical topics for business operators and entrepreneurs, such as ‘‘Perspective and Impact
of AEC on Thai Restaurants’’, ‘‘New Opportunities for Processed Food Manufacturers in Asean’’ and ‘‘Easy Steps to Start POS in Your Business’’.
There is no admission fee to the seminars and workshops, but seats are limited.
For reservations, call 02-335-5300 and 083-989-6807 or visit www.siammakro.co.th.
