Time to move those hips

The ‘Salsa Bangkok Fiesta 2013’ will take place in Bangkok from Nov 1-4.
Salsabangkok, in collaboration with international dance and music professionals, presents four fun parties with different themes on four consecutive nights during the "Salsa Bangkok Fiesta 2013", which will kick off on Nov 1.
Now in its ninth year, the four-day festival, which runs until Nov 4, features showcases from renowned international and local artists, master dance workshops by international instructors, and parties with top deejays.
More than 30 top artists and instructors have confirmed their participation in the fiesta, which is said to be the biggest salsa event of the year in Southeast Asia. Those involved include large groups from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The fiesta is aimed at "Bringing the World Together". It is open to people of all ages and cultures to enjoy the salsa, bachata and other Latin music and dance.
Hundreds of dancers will travel to Bangkok from North America, Europe and neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore to have fun with local dance enthusiasts from Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai and even Mukdahan. The main venue for the first three nights of parties from Nov 1-3 will be Windsor Suites Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 20, starting at 8pm.
The festival will conclude with a farewell rooftop party at The Nest, a bar atop Fenix Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 11, on Nov 4, also starting at 8pm.
In addition, there are a series of dance workshops for beginners and those of advanced level at the Windsor Suites Hotel on Nov 2-3 starting at 11am.
There will also be a pool party with a "Funky Beachwear" theme at the same venue on Nov 3, starting at 2pm.
The fiesta will then move to entertain dance lovers in Pattaya, Chon Buri, from Nov 5-8.
Tickets cost 1,000 baht per night party on Nov 1-3, and 500 baht for the afternoon pool party on Nov 3. There is no admission fee to the farewell party on Nov 4. The workshop fee is 600 baht per class.
