Embrace by Rick Saint.
"When the lights go down, the darkness reveals not everything is black and white," said US artist Rick Saint. He will share this sentiment during his debut Bangkok exhibition "Out Of Their Shadows", which will kick off this Saturday at Chomp cafe.
"Most people hide their true feelings, their passions, and their desires. This project grew out of simply creating a safe place where people could explore those desires," said Saint.
His love of people and cultures is seen in his work. With previous exhibitions and awards in the US and South Korea, his frequent travels in Asia have allowed him to expose elements of the beauty found here.
Throughout the years he has worked with a variety of media, including acrylics, mixed media and silks, along with being involved in performance art. Currently he is focused on photography.
Out Of Their Shadows will show at Chompcafe until Nov 24. The launch party is tomorrow from 7 pm to midnight with an interactive evening full of twists and seductions. The cafe is located on Samsen Soi1 Road (Lamphu) and is open Wednesday to Monday from 9 am to 11 pm. Email email@example.com or call 084-098-8633.
