NEW MENUS ON THE BANGKOK SCENE
The 12-year-old art gallery-turned-restaurant has been known to offer modern international and regional cuisine in a chic and artsy atmosphere for quite some time now.
Recently taking over Eat Me's kitchen is Chef Tim Butler, who focuses on the right combination of Thai flavours and imported high-quality ingredients into the menu.
The chef's signature dishes include zucchini carpaccio with goat cheese, pine nuts and raspberry vinegar (280 baht), scallop ceviche with avocado and chilli lime (380 baht), Thai barramundi with chorizo and saffron braised farro (380 baht), as well as grilled Kurobuta (Berkshire) pork loin with cumin and spiced apple compote (690 baht).
For dessert, a highlighted sweet course is the Australian-style sticky date pudding with home-made vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce (280 baht).
Eat Me is located on Soi Phiphat 2 (off Convent Road), Silom. Call 02-238-0931.
