New menus on the Bangkok scene
Tomorrow, June 23, the award-winning Spanish restaurant, Tapas Y Vino will be hosting its "Undurraga wine dinner".
Priced at 1,500 baht, the six-course wine-pairing menu of Spanish delicacies cooked by resident chef Victor Burgos will be accompanied by fine Chilean wines such as Aliwen Reserva Pinot Noir, Aliwen Reserva Cabernet sauvignon/Carmener and Undurraga sparkling wine.
Among the delicacies are Spanish escabeche marinated quail with mesclun and xeres vinegar; white truffle oil-flavoured scallops with creamy star anis rice; Mi-cuit salmon, black calamari rings, crispy skin and saffron sauce; slow roasted lamb leg with grilled asparagus and foie gras emulsion; and traditional Spanish chocolate roll as dessert.
Tapas Y Vino is at the Grand Millennuim Sukhumvit, Sukhumvit Soi 21. Call 02-204-4158.
