New menus on the Bangkok scene
Lemon sole with Provencale herbs and mini zucchini gateau.
During the month of June, Bonjour restaurant highlights a French seasonal ingredient, sole, which is fished by a small boat off the Normandy coast.
The flat fish with delicate white meat is prepared with lemon, Provencale herbs, mini zucchini gateau, smoked paprika powder, tarragon emulsion and basil sprouts, and priced 1,350 baht.
Other seafood delicacies recommended this season are freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters from Vendee, served with Sicilian lemon and shallots vinegar (650 baht); pan-seared scallops with black truffles and brown butter emulsion (750 baht); and whole royal Brittany blue lobster bisque soup (3,900 baht).
For poultry, roasted breast of Rouge's duck confit with sauteed rattes potatoes and pan-fried foie gras with Canette juice reduction (1,900 baht) is the restaurant's most popular dish.
