New menus on the Bangkok scene
Local and international treats on the buffet brunch line.
Only for tomorrow, April 12, the Square at Novotel Bangkok Fenix Ploenchit will celebrate the Songkran festival by enhancing its large international buffet brunch line with special stalls serving exquisite Thai delicacies.
Most highlighted is khao chae, an old-fashion treat of summer which features rice soaked in foral-scented water to be enjoyed with a variety of relishes. There are also various kinds of Thai spicy curry and traditional Thai desserts.
The Thai cuisine will be offered among a wide variety of culinary treats from all over the world including a huge selection of seafood. Of that, you'll find New Zealand mussels, Alaskan king crab and freshly shucked French oyster from Paris's Rungis market.
The hot dishes corner presents the likes of poached blue shell crab, roasted whole salmon and pan-seared John Dory fish with caper sauce. The brunch buffet is priced 950 baht per adult and 540 baht per child 5-11 years old.
The Square is located at Novotel Bangkok Fenix Ploenchit. Call 02-305-6000.
