NEW MENUS ON THE BANGKOK SCENE
In the midst of April's heat, ISO restaurant at Swissotel Nai Lert Park offers special heat-beating buffet menus to welcome the sweaty holiday season.
Kiwi marinated ostrich steak with rosemary gravy.
From more than 100 international and local dishes, highlighted are kha nom jeen nam phrik, or Thai-style fermented rice noodles with sweet peanut curry; khao chae, or a set of rice in ice-cold floral water served with a variety of relishes; and Nai Lert Park's signature crispy fried noodles in rich-flavoured soup.
For Western fare, there's roasted Australian beef rump with red wine seasoning, among many others. While the dessert corner never fails to offer the typical summer dessert, sticky rice with mango and sweet coconut cream.
To celebrate Songkran, from April 8-16, there will be serviced water guns at the swimming pool area.
Available for lunch and dinner, the buffet is priced 299 baht (lunch) and 399 baht (dinner).
