Bangkok Community Theatre presents two evenings of Shakespeare-themed skits, sketches, scenes and songs at The British Club next month.
‘No Holds Bard: Shakespeare on a Shoestring’ will be staged at The British Club on Nov 8-9 at 8pm.
"No Holds Bard: Shakespeare on a Shoestring" is an opportunity for first timers to try their hand in a supportive, low-stress environment where the emphasis is on fun rather than on big-budget sets and costumes.
The fringe-style show is aimed to appeal to both Shakespeare fans and the Shakespeare-phobic.
There are all kinds of performances to unfold, and audiences can expect the unexpected.
There will also be Shakespeare excerpts mixed in with plenty of works in modern English, including Blackadder-style spoofs and Catherine Tate-style sketches.
The live entertainment will be staged at The British Club, Silom Soi 18, on Nov 8-9 from 8pm to 10.15pm.
Tickets cost 500 baht including a buffet meal and a drink.
To book tickets, call 081-741 0703 between 8am-2pm or email email@example.com. Alternatively, visit The British Club reception.
