PICTURE OF THE DAY
A Singaporean schoolgirl looks at Malaysian artist Kumari Nahappan's installation consisting of 4,000kg of saga seeds, titled Anahata, exhibited as part of the Singapore Biennale at the Singapore Art Museum.
The Biennale 2013 is a contemporary art exhibition featuring 82 artists and collectives from countries such as Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos and Singapore.
Titled "If The World Changed", this year's Biennale explores how artists and audiences respond to the changing environment and consider the type of worlds they want to live in. The Singapore Biennale opened last Saturday and runs until Feb 16.
