Iconoclastic chic

One of the top names in fashion with an artistic flair that never fails to delight fans, Jimmy Choo is launching its special collaborative capsule collection once again this year. And it looks to be one of the wildest takes, literally and metaphorically.

Gracing Jimmy Choo creative directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway's inspiration board this time round is none other than the one and only Rob Pruitt - the endearingly controversial artist who is credited for putting together Guggenheim Museum's First Annual Art Awards.

Known for his iconoclastic wit and visual exuberance, the Pruitt brand, the man and his work make a perfect platform for Jimmy Choo to devour his boundless creative energy and visual feasts. His unconventional use of prints and materials are translated into footwear, clutches and scarves of twisted glamour. Fetishistic laces marry zebra stripes. The dual personality of his "Angel Panda, Devil Panda" video mates eye-popping colours and leopard prints. Imaginative glitz is tweaked into playful and tongue-in-cheek sophistication. Check out the world of Rob Pruitt in Jimmy Choo's collection this month.
