The Reflexions Modern French cuisine restaurant at Plaza Athenee Bangkok continues its mission to introduce wine lovers to some of the world's most remarkable vintages. On Thursday, May 23, the restaurant will welcome one of France's most well-known winemakers, Pascal Jolivet, as guest of honour at an exclusive wine dinner evening.
Jolivet will fly in from France to present a selection of his award-winning wines, which will be paired with a five-course gourmet dinner menu created by the restaurant's culinary team led by master chef Daniel Bucher.
One of the youngest and most dynamic wineries in the Loire Valley, the house of Pascal Jolivet specialises in the wines of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume that currently command a leading position among Michelin-starred restaurants in France. The wine dinner will introduce a selection of rare light wines made using only the natural yeast of the grape.
