Giorgio Forgani, a make-up artist for Milan-based cosmetics brand Pupa, says he loves bringing out the beauty of Asian faces, a skill he amply demonstrated during the recent Bangkok launch of Pupa's latest foundation.
"You can completely change an Asian face with make-up. It's not as easy when doing make-up for Mediterranean women, who already have strong facial features and personalities," said the Italian, who started out working with a photographer in the city of Bologna doing make-up for fashion shoots.
Nowadays he is employing his instinctive feel for what looks good to beautifying not only models and actresses, but also regular women, encouraging them to allow him to draw out their innate natural beauty and highlight it to best effect.
