Atmosphere tense at Pheu Thai

The admosphere at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters became tense after an early vote count showed MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra of the Democrat Party was ahead of its candidate Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen.

Soon after the end of the voting at 3pm, Pheu Thai members and supporters were cheerful and roared with joy after hearing the results of both early and exit polls which showed Pol Gen Pongsapat the clear leader.

But the atmosphere soured after the results of an early vote count from all districts indicated that it was MR Sukhumbhand who was leading. The gap between their votes became wider and wider after 5pm.

Really Happy, fugitive Thaksin will not rule Bangkok.
At least some balance in this corrupt country. And I was further more worried that Jatuporn was planned as BKK Vice Govenor.
A well kept PT secret for almost all involved.

It is a day that people who are not corrupt should rejoice. It is also good that people of Bangkok did remember the burning of buildings and the raid of the hospital.

At least the tension is over for them for another four years...

What's the betting that DS 'finds' a charge to file against Sukhumbhand in the next 2 weeks?

Anytime I read this kind of news about PTP or the reds it makes me happy just to balance my sanity.

I'd be tense, too, knowing that the unstoppable lead that the newspapers were all talking up, was in fact all a well known lie within the ranks of Peua Thai's slick election winning machine.

Oh dear , my partner voted for the Power Pole, so how do I play this. Should I be smug or put my thumb on my nose and wiggle my fingers while saying na na na na nah, or should I be humble.

Lets see now, what will I lose after all how stroppy can a Thai woman really be.

No contest - humble wins with sneaking in the odd chuckle behind her back.
