yes, john, so why did you post them together? Arisman has a history of running and not showing. It's the one year he's afraid of.

    fact_only - "
brilliant 2, "And why the guy should be out on bail is beyond anyone, especially for 200,000 baht."

"... shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding one year or fined not exceeding twenty thousand Baht, or both." Thai Penal Code, Chapter 3, Offence of Defamation, Section 326"

Please explain to us all, john, what the bail amount has to do with the fine amount? Or is this just another one of your not quite facts_only?

D5 : Which part of "authorities" don't you understand? It would probably be the police.

D7 : That would be nice for a change, instead of the endless mouthing off pro Thaksin red rethoric that we're used to.

Thought the court said no more bail? Whats the use of the law and sentencing when the court already has conclude the case and found him guilty. Its like giving proven murders bails so they will never do jail time. Whats the use of the law and court in this country?

Disc9 - 'maybe you should study the political system and try to understand it. It’s not really so difficult.'Aha. That probably explains why the same 'champions of democracy' always end up with short time support. incl. politicians in the west. That is, compared to the real 'democracy' definition, as in.. democracy, invented by the Greeks. But thank you for the 'encouraging' advice! Unfortunately, we have seen too many politicians in the world with the very same kind of message, only to end up with false promises/results. Nevertheless, I'm glad you believe in the DP's success, it would've been the first time in Siam/Thailand's history thoug

Justice isnt being sentenced ebing let on bail and appealing ending up with time served which is zero .All the PAD and UDD cases should have been cleared right after Thaksin's cases which he should have been sentenced while he is still hiding .

Is there any consideration not to give someone bail if this person showed already that he runs away from the police, illegally crosses borders and hides in a foreign country? Or was this just a honest mistake and sure, he won’t do it again? TiT!

@android #7: If you are “Entirely speachless!!!” because you can’t understand why Abhisit was legally elected prime minister then maybe you should study the political system and try to understand it. It’s not really so difficult.
