Poll: City voters favour party candidate

More eligible voters in Bangkok will vote for a candidate running under a political party than for an independent in the March 3 gubernatorial election, Suan Dusit Poll revealed on Sunday.

The poll was conducted between Jan 15-19 on 1,392 eligible voters in 50 Bangkok constituencies.

Asked who they will vote for between a candidate of a political party and an independent runner, 56.47% said they would vote for a party candidate, 40.08% for an independent, and 3.45% were uncertain.

These polls being conducted are mind condition and initiated by those politicians who would do anything to win. They are insinuating that most are inclined to support vote buying, politician who will lost in the up coming election will take this poll to declare the election failure due to vote buying.

'ongoing political conflict' - It might have something to do with the DSI bringing charges against only opposition members, charges which frankly are quite absurd.

My basic premise on all these so-called Public Opinion Polls, is that they reflect Opposition opinion rather than those of the Public, considering their source. The above quote attests to this. What "ongoing political conflict?". The opposition political base is convinced that if they are not in power, things are in dire straits. The political space in every country is heated, and Thailand is no exception. I'm sure if they could win an election, there would be no more "ongoing political conflict' in their opinion.
