Woman gives birth on Sukhumvit

Volunteers helped a woman give birth when she went into labour on a busy Bangkok street – with the moment filmed by a passing journalist on his iPhone.

The woman, in her late teens, was walking along Sukhumvit Soi 71 on Tuesday morning when she went into labour.

Local motorcycle taxi drivers and passersby helped the woman deliver a baby girl at a shed in front of Jusco supermarket before medics arrived at the scene.

A woman is a woman and a girl is a girl.

    There's nothing in-between.

Obviously, she was a young woman aka teen.

Or how to call a woman that's not a girl anymore politically more correct?

With giving birth she became a woman, however old she is.

Great effort by all involved, happiness to both of mother and child!

A woman is a woman, a teen is a teen. Shouldn't it be described as "the female in late teen", if that's who she is. Anyway, congratulations to a healthy, beautiful baby girl. Wishing her a bright future.

Will Jusco be providing a year of free milk supply to the superstar baby?

So maybe the baby's name would be Sukhumvit. What do you think.?

The teen is not yet woman but giving birth its could have upgraded her status. The first birth at this age the baby won't pop out of the womb this easy unless she didn't know she was pregnant. any way it was a joy event for change instead of gundown on the street news.
