200 police left without quarters after contractor abandons work

More than 200 police in Phuket have been left without proper accommodation after a contractor abandoned the construction of officer apartment blocks, the island's police chief says.

The building of the apartments was contracted to PCC Development and Construction Co (PCC).

The company was also awarded a contract by the Royal Thai Police Office to build 396 police stations nationwide but failed to complete them by the June 17 deadline last year.

This has been going on for week now but they are still talking about it.Its like the blind leading the blind. Both seem as corrupt as each other.Easy answer who signed the contract on behalf of the police.Start with that person and work dawn.the duck stops at the top.

Interesting ! The police complaining about someone "not doing the job they were paid for ".
    Maybe this is turnabout justice.
