Thais win snow sculpting competition

SAPPORO,Japan - A Thai team claimed the title of Grand Champion at the 40th International Snow Sculpture Contest in Hokkaido, Japan, for a fourth time on Friday.

The 40th International Snow Sculpture Contest was held as part of the 64th Sapporo Yuki Matsuri snow festival, held annually in Hokkaido's capital city Sapporo from Feb 5-11.

     Thailand is a famous country of a Vegetable carving art. For my part, I wish they show a lotus-flower and a king cobra. Because this year is the year of snake in Thailand and Japan.

    The one thing that Thais really excel in is the arts, whether in ancient skills or technology (ie some very clever and imaginative tv commercials).

    congratulation Dis #1 Idon't think that matter how they practice and with what material. You pack all snow in and using sculpture tool you normally use with wood or ice and ofcourse with skill
    I barely made snowman myself.
