Fire guts foam factory warehouses

A fire ripped through four warehouses of a foam and plastic products manufacturer in Chon Buri's Si Racha district yesterday, causing about 50 million baht in damage.
UP IN SMOKE: Smoke emerges from burning warehouses belonging to SPI Group in Chon Buri’s Si Racha district yesterday morning. The fire caused an estimated 50 million baht in damage.
More than 10 fire trucks were called to the warehouses belonging to SPI Group but the blaze, which started about 8.30am, took firefighters more than an hour to control.
