Offices found unready for decentralisation

A study probing the readiness of primary educational service area offices to take on more administrative duties has found most offices scored satisfactorily or poorly.

The Institute for Research and Quality Development Foundation (IQF) yesterday released its results on whether the offices are ready for decentralisation.

Somwang Pitiyanuwat, IQF chairman and chairman of the National Institute of Educational Testing Services (Niets), said 185 primary educational service area offices nationwide were studied.
