This country is a "failed state". I'd like to see the judges at a bus stop near me.

I wonder what would happen if a mentally ill person ran Moo Ham over with a car? Would that be justifiable? Would the driver be forgiven like Moo Ham? Or would there be a different style of "justice" for doing to Moo Ham what he has done to others?

If he is mentally ill, should not he be in a hospital for the mentally ill? Just another black eye for Thailand.

I think way too much is being made of this story. Clearly Mu Ham has stored up a lot of good karma from his previous lives and that is protecting him now. Don't you understand?

the law is only for the rich...and not only in Thailand...a mentally ill person cannot drive even a bicycle...

Rich people can always get away with murder. Some people born to ruin others life how many more life will this guy ruin.

Seems to me that the court just handed this guy a license to kill! Scary to think that this guy is walking (or driving) the streets of Bangkok, secure in the knowledge that he can do it again whenever he decides to have one of his little tantrums, with virtual impunity.

I thought that "justice" in Peru was a bad joke--but this case proves me wrong. I am sorry--while Peru has no justice, Thailand in this case proves itself to have negative justice--so low that even vermin walk free and their parents count their money. Shameful!

Apparently he is not too mentally ill to drive a Mercedes. This is clear evidence how polluted the Thai legal system has become. Too mentally ill to go to jail but not mentally ill enough that he can drive a Mercedes and kill people. Anyone that believes this is just plain ignorant and that is the truth. I am surprised BP does NOT challenge this ridiculous explanation from the court. Think about it? Too mentally ill for jail, but not mentally ill enough to stop driving himself around? Thai people continually let these hi-so get away with murder and never question or challenge ridiculousness. Money does not bring back the dead for any price.
