Trang waterfall reopens after tragedy

TRANG - Sai Rung (Rainbow) waterfall, one of the province’s popular tourist attractions, has reopened for the first time since 2007 when it was hit by mountain torrents and mudslides during the Songkran holiday that killed 38 revellers.

Trang governor Teerayut Eimtrakul presided over the opening ceremony of the waterfall that included a religious ritual in Banthat Wildlife Sanctuary in tambon Na Choom Hed on Saturday.
