The Royal Thai Navy fired a 21-gun salute to honour the arrival of Their Majesties the King and Queen at Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan on Friday afternoon.

His Majesty allowed the firing of the salute from three guns on the destroyer escort HTMS Pinklao, which was anchored around 1,800 yards from shore, at 4.30pm, said Navy deputy spokesman Wiphan Chamachote.
