Pheu Thai seeks futsal arena probe

The Pheu Thai Party has submitted a petition to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) seeking a probe into alleged irregularities in the Bangkok Futsal Arena's construction.

The arena was built by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), which is controlled by the rival Democrat Party.

The petition, filed by deputy Pheu Thai spokesman Jirayu Huangsap, asked the DSI to examine the BMA's deal with the building contractor, EMC Plc, and how the 1.3-billion baht budget for the stadium was spent.

Evidence that which ever party is in power is more interested in corruption that helping the nation and it's people. Cheating schools, cheating kids out of a quality education is the worst crime of all. All so these unscrupulous politicians can line their own pockets. Thailand wake up to the fact that these politicians are the reason your education system is 37/40.

It is amazing that all DSI probes now are against Democrat Party..not a single one against those corrupt people who are putting millions in their pockets. Probes into some government irregularities and perjury are sitting in the bottom of DSI drawer.

Strange this did not come up in the debate.
