A suspect in the murder of respected Pattani imam, Yacob Raimanee, turned himself in to security officers yesterday to fight the charges.
Officers were contacted by a relative of Mahusen Maeha, who is wanted on an arrest warrant. They requested an escort to take him to the Pattani taskforce headquarters.
Police questioned the suspect for about three hours before taking him to the 41st Ranger Regiment for further interrogation.
