The Pannarai opened about five months ago in the heart of Udon Thani to cater to the growing demand from both business and leisure visitors to the town which has long been a transportation hub for the Northeast and is on a popular land route to Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
Owned by a local businessman, the four-storey hotel features 79 rooms, ranging from standard (28m2) and deluxe (30m2) to junior suites (56m2). It also offers a meeting room, an outdoor swimming pool with a bar, a restaurant and a car park with space for passenger buses.
The hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from Udon Thani airport. There is free Wi-Fi access and an internet corner for guests. The hotel does not operate its own website, but discounts on room rates are offered via Agoda.com. Rooms are clean, of a decent standard and go for reasonable prices.
