To celebrate Thai Museums Day, the National Museum Bangkok is open to the public free of charge today from 9am to 4pm. The aim is to promote awareness of the importance of museums as centres of learning and national heritage conservation.

After the religious ceremony in the morning at Sutthaisawan Throne Hall, the seminars "The Future of the National Museum Bangkok at the Front Palace" and "Showing off the Front Palace" will be held at Prince Damrong Rajanuphap Meeting Room at 1pm.
